Hi All,

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here but that doesn't mean that I haven't been reading your posts.

I'm having bad few weeks and today it's come to a head and peaked. Got an appointment for the docs and been told to up my pregablin and take anti inflammitories as well. I'm frustrated I no that there's not much they can do but I have no support from them at all. If I'm not feeling better by Thursday then to call them back. I am so sore everywhere from my fingers to my toes. I just don't no what to do.

Thank you for your reply. I no I don't come on here as much as I should do but I can say that everyone I do everyone is so kind and lovely you will like it on here. I do hope you realise that your not on your own hope you are feeling better soon.

I'm sorry your both suffering and fed up but they go hand in hand me thinks

I just had to up my pregabalin after took gp 1 week to get back to me it does work if you can put up with awful side effects but was on 300mg bd max dose no I'm back to normal dose of 150mg am 225mg pm pain much worse again but I'm having lignocaine infusion Thursday it really help it via pain clinic .

I think you have to keep chasing the dr or they think you are fine when you not

Hi Piggysqueak,

Thank you for your reply. The doctor told me to up the pregablin to 300mg n take 1 3times a day of diclofenic.I had really bad side effects on pregablin i'm only on 150_200 max normally as its just enough.I'm not to take cocodamol now either.just had to ring in as can't go to work today. My hips feel as if they r being squeezed in a vice. I just don't no what to do.

I'm so sorry love ,I tried to up my pregabalin by 25 mg each time but just awful I'm back to my usual dose . Why can't you take cocodamol has Dr given you an alternative painkiller ? I hope so ? I'm also on duloxetine ( cymbalta) but you may want to try antidepressant pain killer ? If you can't up the pregabalin and you have nothing else for pain then the Dr needs to see you again . One Gp said to me when I was on 300mg pregabalin twice a day Nand they made me sleep almost unconscious and my dr said its your choice either your asleep or in pain ! That is not true or it does nt need to be that bad.good luck love please don't suffer in silence

Hi Squeak,

I have 75mg and 25mg and I've to up it to 300mg and take the diclofenic but advised not to take cocodamol as it will make me sleepy with the pregablin as I was worried about driving and need to concentrate at work. But no he hasn't given me anything for the pain and I just don't no what to do.I agreed with him yesterday but I don't think it was the right decision and now I don't no what to do.I've to ring him back on Thursday if no better. It's just been so long since I've felt like this and I just feel alone.

Hi Jo jo

You in a similar situation to me what I did but it's your decision was only increase night by 25 mg to see how I felt .but it may be enough to help you . I Found it did help but I'm not working or driving . While it's so bad how do you manage work ?

I would definitely ring him Thursday

And remember to eat before you have diclofenac

Hi Squeak,

Normally if I go to work I have to take it easier and do things that don't take as much concentration and can take my time - work is good that way with me. I haven't had a flare like this for a while and had myself in a routine but something has triggered it.

Yeah I'm eating before it although it doesn't stop me from feeling sick tho.
