Hi everyone, dont want to sound negative and nasty but please please use paragraphs and shorten your blogs and answers. Even some volunteers don't use paragraphs.
I find it really difficult reading all those long blogs, and simply log off in frustration, and i know there are loads of us that have the same problem.
Just hit the space bar guys and don't ramble, i know we all want to get things off our chests so to speak but remember your blog will be read by more if its short and to the point.

I do not wish to offend but I'm uncomfortable with this request.
As you know this site is for everyone with Fibro and most of us don't know anyone else with Fibro who can empathise with us so we use this site to 'get things off our chests'. We also ask for help that non fibro sufferers may not be able to help us with.
Because of Fibrofog many of us say in 10 words what can normally be said in one,
I appreciate that some people 'ramble' as you put it but that may just be their way. They may be fully aware that they 'ramble' but are unable to change and your request may stop them asking important questions or giving vital information in future for fear of upsetting the 'loads' of you who share your problem.
Surely, if someone has a problem reading the long blogs it is their problem and not that of the person who posted the blog or answer to it. So may I suggest that anyone who has a problem with 'long' blogs or answers simply doesn't read them and only reads the shorter posts? This seems like the simpler solution to me.
And yes, I am aware that at times I do give long answers but I do try to be as concise as possible. However, I want to ensure that the information I am giving is comprehensive and easy to understand so sometimes it is necessary to give a longer than normal answer.
Finally, if we do not even try to understand our fellow sufferers individual ways what is the point of this site? Shell x
Thank you 66Amanda66 and Lynn-Fa for your replies.
I appreciate 66Amanda66 that you do not want any disagreements and neither do I. All I wanted to do was explain however that sweeping statements like '... i know there are loads of us that have the same problem' and ',,,the majority agree with me' might put some people off contributing to this fantastic site because they think that you are the spokesperson for these people and that by 'rambling' they may offend many.
This is the point I am trying to make.
Your opinion is your opinion and no-one else's and I don't think those phrases should be used if you cannot speak for the 'loads' or 'the majority' without their permission.
If you have contacted every member of this site and asked their opinion on this subject then I do apologise.
Please understand 66Amanda66 that I respect your opinion, it is your phrasing that I am unhappy with. Please do not be offended 66Amanda66 but try to understand the power of words and how they can affect other people.
Lynn-Fa, I hope you realise that no offence was meant in my post yesterday. I simply wanted to point out the power of words.
I also realise that when posting a question or writing a blog on this site that, no matter how long or short it may be, it is not guaranteed to be read. Shell x
