Hi I have both of these Have you had your thyroid checked recently? If that is all fine then the best diet I found and worked for me was weightwatchers found it really easy should have stuck to it lol so I need to get back to it as my weight has gone up alot too. Hope that helped xx

I agree with fairlady, Weight Watchers is good and I've lost 15lbs since January. Granted, it has taken longer than normal people but at least it's off. Good luck. x

if you go to your GP they will give you an eating plan if not weight watchers is really good my sister is on that at the min and is losing it gradually and she cant eat as much as she is allowed to you can also do this online if you type it in and your area it should come up good luck you will soon be on your way love to you didle x

I have put on loads of weight recently but have been told some of it may be due to the medication I take. My GP has referred me to our local Weight Management Clinic so am just waiting for the appointment to come through. My thyroid was checked recently but came back normal although this does run in my family.

If I am honest though my diet could be better, I do try and eat healthily but eat the wrong things too. I think exercise is another issue for us too, I used to walk for miles each day but am unable to do this now.

Hope things work out for you. Love Angela xx

Hi Catleigh, i put on loads of weight, through medication also steriods ect every day, but i started slimmersworld over a year ago and had lost 6 and a half stones in a year, i am also in a wheelchair so i do not get any exercise what so ever, i find slimmers world is fantastic, you never feel hungry and you can eat loads, also you have syns every day (10/15) so i can still have my chocolate ect, i have never looked back and is the best diet i have ever been on, they also do it on line, good luck hun xxxx

Hi lynn,

I have underactive thyroid and i have put on so much weight.

I am low on vitamind and only just started on the tablets, so if thats true about my thyroid medication not working then that could be why i am putting weight on so much.

I dont eat after seven, i have cereal for breakfast (shreddies with nothing on them), toast for dinner and then whatever my partner makes for tea and i let myself have one treat after tea.

I didnt get why i was still putting weight on so hopefully when i get my vitamind levels back up it might come off.

thankyou, hugs, kel xxxx
