are we entitled to blue badges - Fibromyalgia Acti...
are we entitled to blue badges
if you get high rate mobility you are entitled to a BB..
I have a blue badge, you have to get your doctor to send a supporting letter, hope this helps, it does depend on what condition/s you have and how they affect your ability to walk
Yes it does as I have high rate motability and have bb.
i have a BB and not on higher rate, and didn't have letter from my dr!!
i am the same as you i dont know if they wrote to my gp as you have to put their dtails on form but i am on income support at min with sickness top up love diddle x
Just a thought - after getting my Blue Badge, I successfully applied to have the mobility component of my DLA upped to the higher rate. I don't know what your circumstances are, but it may be worth a try. Sleep on it. It's a risky business in this current climate though. I'm pretty sure I should qualify for the middle rate care component too (I have LRC), but I just can't take the risk of reapplying and possibly losing what I already have.
I am on low rate- i guess i am not entitled am i?
I dont get dla but got a blue badge. The bb people sent my dr a form to fill in
thanks guys will give it a go anyway
I got my Blue badge before my DLA was upped to higher rate mobility. I was lucky to have the support of my GP. I do believe that having the badge helped me to get higher rate mobility later on.
