I am worried about the amount of tablets/meds I use daily. 3 years ago I was taking 55 tablets daily, I cut them down to 36. I went into Renal failure March 2010 and they cut me down to 19 with strict orders not to have more than that.
NOW my new GP has me on 25 a day, when I rattle off to see her next, I am expecting more as I am anemic.
Can't win, can you?

I have to take 52 pills a day for fibromyalgia, type 1 diabetes, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, sleep apnoea, hypothyroidism, IBS, high blood pressure, autonomic and peripheral neuropathy and postural hypotension. I accept that with so many conditions I need to take these pills and I take 30 in the morning using 2 cups of tea and another 22 in the evening with the same method. Some days it makes me gag and I find it really difficult to take them.
I live in hope that one day in the future we'll be able to take all our medication in a much more convenient form such as a weekly injection or pills that measure 1mm.
