relapse

I have been coping with fibromyalgia and cfs since 2013. For the last 4 years I have managed my symptoms well and have managed a limited but varied life with no real flare ups. I am now having the worst relapse ever. Having to start my medications again and feel I am back at square one. Does this sound familiar to anyone else as I sure it can’t just be me. Will I get back to how I was if I try to follow the rules a bit better. Any suggestions.

I was managing symptoms for 2 years, it was hard work with ups and downs.A recent stressful situation at work has resulted in me being back to square one, having to take stronger pain killers.

thanks for telling me your story it makes me feel like my flare up isn’t really my fault. Hope you pick up soon and spring will soon be here which makes things feel better.

Hi, first of all congrats for managing to cope with this over the past few years and I'm sorry to hear you're going through this now. With fibro I feel we just have to roll with it and expect ups and downs and be kind to ourselves on the downs. If you need some medication to get through the flares this shouldn't feel like a negative. Best of luck x

Awww you're most welcome! Lonely is a very good description of living with fibro too 😕, that's a horrible feeling. Yep, spring always easier than winter. Let's get through one day at a time and not feel guilty if some days are too much. Better days will come x
