Hi, has anyone been to the four week pain clinic in Glasgow? I have been referred and was wondering if anyone had any experience they could share.Thanks

hi, be honest say how you feel, how a bad day goes. The pain clinic opens door to medication, also local groups ran my physio, occupational therapy. I have had acupuncture, injections in my joints because I have like a lot of fibromyalgia sufferers Arthritis. Say what you can’t do, no one get help for how much they can do.

I went on the four week residential one at St Thomas’ in London a few years ago. Very good and worthwhile. They teach coping strategies, about meds, and much more. I met some great friends and am still in touch with a few - which provides support and helpful advice. Hope this helps with your decision. Best of luck …. And Merry Christmas x
