Brief story

pain began 9/22 considered to be PMR then inflammatory arthritis; 30MG steroids worked initially then when reducing went on to methotrexate which didn’t work. Rheumatology now consider I don’t have PMR or arthritis and are referring me to pain management. A very bad spell over last 3 days.

Have you been diagnosed with fibromyalgia?

Yes but not yet confirmed. My consultant rheumatologist considers my bloods do not indicate inflammatory arthritis but my GP still feel that there are markers that are not conclusive. However, my condition and how I’ve been suffer for 2 years, seems to indicate fibromyalgia. Friends who have fibromyalgia feel that I have it.

Thank you for replying.
