Diagnosis advice please!

Hello. For about 4 years, the doctors were adamant I had endometriosis. I finally had the op last month and it's not that! My GP gave me a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia and I was wondering what medical tests, scans, etc. anyone had before being diagnosed? It just seems to be really jumping the gun to say Fibromyalgia without ruling out other things

You usually have bloods tests that look for inflammation that could be an indicator of various things, if that comes back negative that's about all the tests you have. Unless you have a specific part of your body that hurts a lot. It is common for fibromyalgia pain to move around the body and be nonspecific in that way though. You can also develop fibromyalgia from having other chronically painfully conditions so you can have inflammation and fibromyalgia but obviously in that situation the cause of the inflammation would already been identified.
