Just wondering ……

For years I’ve noticed that I bruise easily. I’ve found bruises on myself for no reason or that I can’t remember hurting myself in that place.

So I was wondering if anyone else has this issue or has noticed this problem. It has got me considering whether this is another strange quirk of fibro!

Hi hun,Yes I'm always bruised somewhere and for no reason.

Mention it to you're Doctor if you are worried .

They'll probably do a blood test.

Sending you a prayer and hugs x

Good afternoon Gulfstream_Maggie , I'm always discovering bruises that seem to appear for no reason. Sometimes I do remember that I did something to cause the bruise but for the life of me I can't remember what it was!

Hi Gulfstream_MaggieI do this and always have.

My daughter even more. I have an autoimmune condition. It is aggravated by stress or chemicals or junk food/sugar.

It is genetic. My body over reacts or attacks parts of me. Mine is a non specific auto immune condition ( no perticular name etc) My first sign is bad eczema in hair and ears. I have Sjogrens Syndrome.

My daughter has Morphea when the skin goes from bruise to sometimes scar. It is now more managed.

I have managed to find balance but it is always a sign to step up self care.

I hope you find body peace

Take care

Gigi

Yes I get this all the time, wake up with bruises that I don't ever remember hitting in any way. Not sure if it's Fibro or maybe medications

To be honest I would speak to your GP. There are a number of conditions which could cause bruising and these need to be ruled out before blaming fibromyalgia.
