Pip was up for review sent in forms in August had a call today from pip consultation services we went few a few things with my mobility and they advised that they was extending award until 2026 they also advised that due to fibromyalgia being progressive they expected me to get the higher rates on my next award. I was slightly confused as I didn't think fibromyalgia was progressive? Anyway I don't have to do any review for three years thank goodness.gentle hugs to all x

That’s good, I got 0 points so I need to try again. My fibromyalgia and related conditions have definitely got worse as I have got older x
Hi Jillgib. I don't think that I've been told or read about it being progressive but as I've gotten older my Fibro had definitely processed. I think I'll go back out and look at the research centers like John Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland, and the NIH (National Institute of Health) and re-read them regarding that. It sounds familiar now that I think about it.
It sure sounds like the UK is ahead of the USA on this. Doctors hate to write letters stating that a person is permanently disabled. I have the hardest time asking. I've had no income going on two years now. Early retirement is going to be the route that I'll have to go. I'm very thankful that I'm 62 and have that option. If like to hold out to 63 but it probably won't make any difference. I have to wait for 65 and can't wait that long. Being homeless doesn't sound appealing. Lol
