It is strange my family thought so and said it might have been fibro or trapped nerve x

I saw a neurologist, had lumbar puncture, nerve tests on inpatient care, yes I was diagnosed with nerve abnormalities c 22 years ago. I drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle and only licenced with automatic gear-box. Also have lymphoedema feet and lower legs and venous eczema so pretty bad with numerous other health/disability disorders so it is true nerve abnormalities are part of fibromyalgia.

I get this quite a lot in my hands feet and mainly my left calf muscle. I have fallen once before was rather embarrassing ended up with a badly bruised food. DRs say they are unsure on it

Yes that is how I get and they go stiff and heavy I have to rest up and leave it pass for a day or two sometimes longer. It is very frustrating but it does pass heat is good for it but rest is the only way if u power through I go into a bigger flare up. I hope it passes soon for you.

Suggest getting your sugar levels checked at your surgery asap. I've had a strange swollen, pressing feeling in the palms of my hand and my feet for quite a while now and had to get an appointment anyway 2 weeks ago when I had the most horrible feeling I was going to pass out while in bed at 4am. This was after a trip out where they gave you tea. - Doctor suggested diabetes type 2 in my appointment (a week later), the day before the nurse did the blood test. He was the one who had diagnosed me with fibro and sent me to Rheumatology, so I pretty much trust him. -So many seem to have been reporting those hand and feet symptoms on here I thought a few weeks ago, so it made me look yesterday to find if there 'could' be a diabetes connection and it actually, is, one of them. Googled all the symptoms and have just about all of them.

- Nice nurse had said 'if' it was a serious result the hospital would ring them the next morning. No phone call but now seriously watching my blood sugar and have got rid of all sugar from my diet. Following up with locum tomorrow as she will be checking 'something else' out! (Please be aware that if it is type 2, Internet sites are very contradictory about what you can eat safely but you can still manage the odd strawberry I think.) Take care of yourself.

Hi. I get numb tingly sometimes feels like needles in the upper parts of my feet. I’ve not have problems like falling over. Everything is not down to Fibro. If you have back or neck problems it could be nerve damage. May be better to go to the doctor and get referred.

The bottom of my feet are always numb as are the back of my thighs. They have been like this for a few years. For me it's part of my fibro. Fibromyalgia can affect people differently but I know people who never experience this and others who occasionally do. Fibro is unique to each person I know, strange isn't it

I have had this for years. Previous to this had toes coming away from the bed of my feet which is excruciating. Previous to that the inability to keep my feet warm year round. Previous to that i had an xray on my feet, which showed i had zero fat under my feet. Never any help from gp. Get stuck in my bathroom at least x2 per week as pins and needles then no feeling. Feet feel heavy and about 6 times the size with acute pains. No feelings in hands. Moved into Sheltered Housing with Xtra Care 3 months by Social Services, due to falls after these experiences. Yet cannot get gp to help or explain as receptionists think they're medically qualified to assess. Hope the situation lessens for you and you're not in too much pain. All the best 😍
