I totally understand what you have said. I was 17 years of "it's just your depression and anxiety causing the pain". The relief I felt getting the diagnosis was something else, I could've kissed the doc. That feeling of thank god , I'm not insane, it wasn't all in my head. Sending gentle hugs.
hi yes totally agree
Fibro is a collection of symptoms they do not know much about or how to improve your pain , just my opinion based on over 50 years of coping or trying to .
hi totally agree there other symptoms itchy skin hives sweats pins and needles thank u for your reply
hi I totally know how you feel you’re not alone I had same problem for about 20 years but after so many different tests like nerve testing blood tests scans etc I was finally diagnosed 9 years ago I’m on pregabalin naproxen tramadol codeine all sorts but nothing is helping drs say there’s not much more they can give me so I’m struggling quite bad but just have to get on with life which is hard tbh, it just seems to be getting worse crippling most days all I can say is you’re not alone me and others all understand what you’re going through hope you feel better with your medication x
hi thanks for your reply - yes I am on pregabalin and amtyripaline at the moment have been on other meds in the past but was working so some I couldn’t take but now I don’t work partly due to the pain so now see how we go
hi thank u for your reply I agree u do have to get on with it but getting a diagnosis after so long is a relief even though it doesn’t chang anything
I have all the usual meds as above plus pain patches , to save having to increase the dose of the patches I leave it off for as long as I can as I have found it ineffective after a few weeks
