5th November! I detest it

I absolutely detest Bonfire Night, Plot Night or whatever else it maybe called. I’m jumping every time I hear a fire work going off. And, I feel for all the poor Wild & Domestic Animals that are deeply affected by the noise also. Everyone should be able to enjoy Bonfires and Fireworks but surely for many reasons it should all be an organised/permitted event which, people can choose or not to attend. It’s making my fibro /anxiety/flight or fight response kick off. I’m definitely going to be feeling a flare after this 😫

I absolutely agree with you Dragon Fly. Its a dangerous activity and people get hurt and sometimes have life altering injuries every year. My little old dog is terrified and inconsolable.

Isn't it time, after 400 years to forgive the Catholics and let go 😂

hello I agree too, should be organised events and not a free for all to buy in the supermarkets. I worry for the animals outside and inside who are terrified just for a human beings entertainment 🤷‍♀️

I agree... my poor cat is hiding under the sofa as I type this - she hates it and is so scared. It's not as if it lasts for one night either, it always seem to drag on for 3 or 4 nights...

The organized displays are fine but that's where it should end.

they are still going off! And they cost a fortune as well! Poor Kitty 🐱

Totally agree! I have 4 cats, luckily only 1 of them is badly affected. My house has been like a nightclub tonight with music in every room to drown the bl**dy things out. No doubt tomorrow night will be more of the same. Every year same old crap!😩😩

I totally agree these horrid loud bangs from fireworks are so unnecessary and the poor animals suffer🤣surely they can be made noise free, yep events just on the night and banned selling during the year , maybe New Year’s Eve , not being a Kill joy but I’ve been jumping out of my skin as it feels like they are actually in my garden ☹️

Totally agree, no need for the loyd bangs that frighten people and animals to death 😞. I saw an advert that Asda were selling noise free fireworks so you get to see the show but not the noise! Should be organised events only. I am lucky my dog doesn’t mind them and the cats are not bothered as long as the tv is on. I know of other dogs that are absolutely terrified 😢 xx

I was up all night with my little dog. The fireworks were going off until 1am! 😴

Most of the celebrations in N.I. were cut back either by cost, councils could not afford it, actually weather has been dreadful over the season. My sister's🙀😾😼were terrified by any fireworks that did happen, very low key! Basically Dragonfly2020 like most of these 'celebrations' aimed at the kids!
