hi everyone hope you are ok x I felt a bit funny today I don't know if it's anxiety, or me being hungry at the time or a little bit of labrythitus I don't know. I have calmed down a bit now but my legs felt like they were going to buckle or give way fed up with all this I hope to explain it to the doctor tomorrow x 😊 😩😢

Good Luck with your doctor's appointment.

If dizziness , loss of balance, or feelings of Anxiety are happening with no obvious cause this can be a sign of a number of things , including mild autonomic nervous system dysfunction or anaemia or a vitamin / mineral deficiency or internal dehydration.

It would be a good idea to ask your GP to do a range of blood tests , especially if you haven't had your levels checked for some time. Request them to do a full blood count , liver and kidney function tests, Vitamin B 12 , ferritin, Folates and Vitamin D.

Deficiencies in mineral salts can cause increase in loss of balance and dizziness and make labrynthitus worse. Vitamin B 12 and Vitamin D can effect all your Fibro symptoms and cause Anaemia , even if you have a good diet as constant healing with a chronic illness uses up lots more nutrients and we often need supplements.

Dehydration is a big cause of these sudden autonomic symptoms , Fatigue and increased pain. You can be dehydrated even when you aren't thirsty , and we often feel hungry when the body is actually trying to communicate a need for water. If you don't already try to drink the recommended amount of fluids each day .

Tell the GP you want a baseline of test results to help improve your Self Care and to rule out any deficiency or possible infection that could be causing your symptoms to get worse.

I can relate to this. Shortly before my evening meal my head is everywhere. Angry, aggressive and snappy to my wife (who, I am happy to say understands this happens and takes it in her stride). I'm type 2 diabetic and would say I am not hungry when this event happens as we suspected the diabetes). I have anemia and B12 deficiency. I had to go for an endoscopy and colonoscopy on Saturday (two weeks ago), the day before I was allowed no food. I didn't get any aggression etc as I would have done. I await the results of the biopsies.
