My duloxtene actually binds me never the other way, it could well be it’s the reduction of the morphine, perhaps ask for a call back from your GP for some advice x

Morning Millie21, I've come off Morphine recently. Although all are different, due to my Urology appointments and via my gp it has been said to be the contributing factor to my bowel issues. I'm chronically constipated and have been taken off the Morphine. Apparently it gives bowel issues so I'm assuming that like me you've had a back log abd not been aware of it, nor drawn any correlation with any links to the Morphine. As you've come off the Morphine your body is now acting as normal as it can and as a result you now have the diarrhoea. I'm assuming this will take a while to settle and will be based on the length of your Morphine intake. Maybe you need a referral to Urology to help diagnose what the possible outcome after this bout of diarrhoea could be. Please let us know how you get on. I wish you the best. Take care 😍

They told me to come off it immediately. No weaning off process. Resulted in immediate sleep issues which i still have. Been prescribed pain patches which keep burning my skin. Tried 2 different types and I just keep getting burnt. X

Oh that's unusual my doctor said you have to come off gradually yes I had the patches and they made my skin very itchy and sore x

I have got to have one of the worst gp practices in the uk. They do anything not to talk to you in my area. For example I booked an appointment on econsult this morning which is for tomorrow. Rather than call they've sent me an email with links and videos which in no way help. This was after trying to call them from 08.15am until 09.09am with a total of 55 calls. I've watched receptionists over the years and see a growing trend of them asking questions to prolong the call, resulting in others being unable to get through. Sometimes these questions are totally irrelevant and obviously a favourite patient or friend.

yes i was forever cobstipsted. The pain clinic took me off them. I have Ibs and they saud ut shouldn't be given to people with bowel issues. Turns out it was masking my Diverticulitis and boy did i know when i came off them.
