Tramadol effects have really changed from one extreme to the other

I've been on Tramadol now for 4 years with many failed attempts to come off. I'm now only on 100mg a day. The max I've ever been on a day is 200mg.

Anyway, I'm feeling like I really do just want to come off now as the positive effects that I used to have before like huge amounts of energy and being outgoing and chatty have gone away.

Instead now when I take it I just feel extremely tired and fatigued with no energy to do much at all. I really miss how it used to be as it used to help me so much both with pain but also mentally.

Hi, it sounds like your body as now become accustomed to the medication and stopped working for you imo.

The only thing I would advise is speak to your GP. I wouldn't just stop taking the med till you have discussed it with your doctor. Good luck issy🤗

I differently agree with Mono s advice get too see your GP for a review , hopefully they can look at ways to help , sometimes being constantly tired does have an effect on how we feel, for me personally days when I do have more energy I do feel more positive and it would be helpful for you too get the right help on going forward with day to day living , let us know how you get on and take care x
