Hi Sandy, I'm with you on this one. I seem to sleep all day but I think it's all part of the cycle as I feel I'm not quite as tired at the mo so feel a bit more human. We gotta keep hassling our GPs for support. When I'm bad I sleep whenever I need to. Not sure if this is right but it works for me. Good luck :)

HI Sandy I have bad sleeping patterns I do not sleep through the night and when I do it is in fits and starts, I do not have very good sleep and I am tired all the time and I would sleep all day if I could I have my alarm on my phone set just incase I fall asleep and forget my daughter in school. I have to keep busy.

Yep, I can sleep an obscene amount of time. I regularly sleep 12-14 hours, meaning I have missed most of the day when I get up. I am not tired at night so I go to bed far too late and then can't get up til afternoon time. I know I could fix this if I really worked on it but its so hard that I just go with it.

If I have had a busy day and have overdone things, I frequently sleep all night, the next day and the next night = 36 hours. Its not normal but I always feel better afterwards.

My sleep pattern is all over the place. Night-time sleep is always disturbed by pain, so I often feel extremely tired during the day and have to go back to bed. Sometimes, I will fall asleep on the sofa while watching TV, but that doesn't do my neck any good! The last few days, I've been going to bed about 6pm and staying in bed until about 6am the following day, but so disturbed, I just don't have the energy to get up any earlier. I have been known previously to sleep/stay in bed for 23 hours!

Hi everyone I'm new to this site! I agree I'm like a vampire at night because I slept in till after 1'oclock today still tired thankfully not as tired as I used to be with chronic exhaustion but if I had to go back to work part-time I wouldn't be there for very long I'd have to give the job up however I do occupy myself making cards for people very theaurapeautic!

I could sleep all day but I have CFS as well as Fibro. I sometimes have a nap about 4 pm for an hour but not always.

For years I have always needed my sleep, even as a child my mum didn't have to take me to bed I would go around 6pm everynight! I have to have at least 10 -12 hours a night just to function. When my Fibro is really bad I have 14 hours sleep, I go to bed at 9pm then up at 7.30am, then by afternoon I am exhausted again and sleep for a further 2 hours, before my kids come home for tea. On weekends it could be more, have I got CFS too?

Yes I do all the time have a nap in morning shortly after I awake from not being able to sleep at night, and afternoons. Some days are worse than others...depends on the weather too
