Pain in Heat
Thing is it’s abnormally hot at the moment, we’re not used to it in the U.K. are we, hopefully it will get cooler soon .
We don't get it quite so hot up here, so I generally do better over the summer months. If it's too hot I find that I struggle more with my fatigue than pain
Sorry to read how it’s affecting you, I’ve my fan on 24/7 and not been outside as my hubbie came back from his brothers wedding got Covid and passed it too me so I can relate as the nausea is horrid at the moment (one of the side effects of this new variant, take care x
Hi, I hate this extreme hot weather. All the joints in my hands are throbbing, and my feet, and not to be outdone, my R hip. I do have Arthritis as well as Fibro, but it’s never been this painful.
This severe heat is going to last until next week. I live in the SW of England, and we’re for 32 on Sunday!
Hope you feel better soon.
GP. 😊😊
Give me cold weather every time.
I can always put more clothes on but, in summer, there reaches a point where it would be very antisocial for me to take any more off and I am still too hot.
Yes I’m finding it very hard in this heat. It sucks away what little energy I have. I’m also dizzy and nauseous so I understand.
I find I get dizzy, and I have the joy of hayfever. Loosing sleep when you already have a higher need for rest, is awful. My flat is just as hot as outside, and airless. It's only a studio, so existing in one room. I'm trying the continental method of closed windows and blinds when it's hotter outside ( my uncle's French). But that's only between 9 or 10 at night and 9 am if that. I have to have netting to stop Mozie's and other insects.
Summer is always a nightmare for me, heat just exhausts me even more 🥵 I really feel for you, the temps are crazy hot. At least in Scotland we're not as high but still too hot for me.
It often doesn't bother me but this year I feel like the heat is triggering lots of parathesia style burning pain all over my body. It's horrible - gave me a terrible night sleep and now the burning is even worse today. Anyone else getting that triggered by the higher temoperatures?
I agree SoulSley. I'm burning more than usual because of the heat and sooo exhausted!
