Hi Star
I have found that cutting out dairy, sugar, and meat seems to have helped my symptoms a little… and I try to stretch out as much as I can.
Being new to this diagnosis, I’m early on the journey so will try anything!
I hope you find something that helps you 💙
Been there and come back from it and over the years it does come and go depending on what the body overdoes and underdoes. That's always a guessing game. You will get some kind of easing up though especially going off sugar. Finding a chiropractor that suits you will help you cope with the long term need for relief (which does not always come immediately after a treatment). Have resorted to codeine plus anti-inflammatory very much in the past. I try to avoid codeine if I can now because it can bung up the bowels! Cbd and turmeric capsules can make quite a difference and if sleeping on the side, with a pillow between the thighs above the knees keeps the spine straighter. Try googling 'serola belt'. They are quite interesting to wear and worn correctly can help to strengthen the muscles. - Good luck with the stretches. Thanks for a timely reminder that I need to work on those too.
I'm in this position, but flare up , due to over active bladder, l had stick on pain patches, from Holland & Barrett s that seemed, to work for yesterday's pain, but today forgot they was on. Heated blanket, helps to some degree, hope you get some relief
Over the years I have tried so many things, which seem to help but having hypermobile joints wih Osteoarthritis in them I find cold damp weather seems to affect me the most. I try to rest as much as possible. It's hard for me cutting out all dairy as I need the calcium for my bones but I find the less processed food I have the better I feel. Doing some Yoga stretches helps
