i was diagnosed from then on ive just been given d with fibromyalgia by my doctor nurse a few years ago at my pain management clinic but then between my doctor and neurologist came up with FND from then on my whole world changed i was given pills for the pain antidepressants for my mood sand left im feeling so lost im so thankful i found your group if i do go to the doctors for any think she just says oh because of your FND or just refuses to see me just get a message back that she's very busy just increase your pain meds or double up with shop brought pain killers i can take up to 8 aday

Hi ragerty3. It sounds like you need to think about changing your doctor. You are entitled to better health care than that. It can be dangerous to just double up on your pain killing meds. Have you looked at acupuncture or other alternative options?

Hi ragerty, I agree with rubydooby to get docs that will work with you. We shared recently on here that even on the NHS it is possible to file a complaint and change docs. You can look for so many other ideas here than pain meds: pain & mental management incl. relaxation, physio (including ruby's suggestion acupuncture), diets, analyze symptoms and triggers and supps & herbs....
