What's the difference between chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia
Do you mean the difference between Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME) and fibro? CFS is not the same as chronic fatigue. The latter is or can be part of fibro whereas the form is a separate and more complex condition.
yes the D.O.W. does accept fibro.
The DWP dose not have a set list as such of illnesses , diagnosis or health conditions but there is a list of conditions that claimants have had and they where awarded either PIP or ESA after the assessments. You can have a certain disability or diagnosis and still work but as for fulfilling the criteria for the PIP descriptors is another matter. When claiming PIP you have to prove your inabilities to cope manage the descriptors safely and repeatedly and in a timely manner for 50% of your daily living activities. The condition or disability has to be present for at least 3 months and likely to remain so for the next 9 months.
Hi Hidden , put simply. The DWP do not regard what your diagnosed medical conditions are, but on how you manage to cope in your day to day life living with them. They give you points on each question, and you get a score according to your answer.
Take care.
