Hi I Denise I am 49 year old. At present I not working I just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia a week or so ago . So any help would be appreciated as just feel so fatigue and like pain all over

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. How long haven’t you been working for? Now you have your diagnosis your work place should make reasonable adjustments to help you return to work. Are you on any medications?

I of with vreavemwnt as husband died of covid before that I was his full time career not on anything yet got doctor ringing on Monday so we will see

So so so sorry you lost your husband, being his full time carer you must have done an amazing job. And I am really sorry for your loss. I hope your GP can offer you some pain relief options

Me to I need something in so much pain specially fingers and toes

Deedee im so sorry for your loss. Your grief will be intensifying the pain. My hands and feet are agony during flare ups. I found warm wax wraps are wonderful and ease the pain. I also use microwavable heat pads and chilli based creams.I hope you get some help

Hi do sorry to hear about your husband awful was it the loss of your husband that brought on fibro. Their is help but it takes time I was diagnosed s month ago so I'm on medication but it doesn't cure the tiredness .it's awfully I'm still under the sleep clinic and waiting for results. Out of all the pain head ache it the tiredness is the worse. I hope and wish you get all the help you need all the best and take care.

Yes I hardly sleep wake in pain there say loss someone flare it up its actually exploded in main ways hope doctor give me something

HI Deedee. So sorry to hear about your loss, that must have been devastating. I hope you have people around you who are taking care of you. My fingers and toes go when I'm having a bad day so I try to do some stretching and keep moving as much as possible so that they don't seize up. Diet is really important to me as well as it seems to make a huge difference. I hope your GP can help with pain relief and I wish you lots of love and happiness. x
