Yes. I am working on relaxing the jaw, I had TMJ a long time ago and learned to hold my jaw back to relax the muscles. Have eye dr appt next week.

Hi interested to hear that you had TMJI find that I keep clenching my jaw and have to have a strong word with myself to stop doing it as my jaw begins to ache! Also it clicks sometimes.. is TMJ painful??

in reply toGreyt

Yes, it can be really painful, you get a cramp in your jaw off and on all day, and the bones sort of scrape on each other. You need to keep your lower jaw relaxed and in the back position. A dentist can make you a night guard to wear to stop clenching in your sleep and it helps you learn how to hold your jaw to relax. I haven't had it since.

Thank you for the advice I am working on keeping the jaw relaxed . Think stress has a lot to do with it when I clamp my jaw down. Will check it out with the dentist.

Yes I have blurred vision most days. Had eyes checked. The optician said it was dry eyes. I also get pressure feeling in my jaw. Very strange symptoms to describe to someone who doesn’t have fibromyalgia

Optrex Actimist is the name of the drops but Tesco do their own a lot cheaper. You spray onto your eyelids and it runs into the eye.

I have always bitten my lip but I try not but this pressure creeps up. I have been putting ice packs around my neck and that’s helped.

Yes I have terrible jaw pain I have pain everywhere but the jaw pain is off the scale and I’m not coping with it very well at the moment . I either use a hot or cold pack it helps a bit sometimes but not always . I’m going to try cbd now so I will let you know if it helps .

I would get that but thought it was caused by gritting my teeth against all the other fybronasties. As for the eyes everything from blurred vision to sparkles accompanied by door frames attacking me.
