Hi,
I have horrible pain at the SI joint. I’m a student so I have to sit a lot for studying and it’s awful. Any tips on relieving that specifically?

I just wanted to empathise I too am a student so feel your pain. Just take regular breaks and do stretching exercises to loosen up the joints again. Ask a physio to recommend some if you can. Also try sitting on a gym ball if you have the space it is good for posture and takes pressure off your back. Best of luck in your studies I hope you do well x
Can you see a sports therapist? Get some specific exercises to do daily perhaps. Plus either a kneeling chair or a standing desk to help you.Yoga is a great help too.
Good luck.
Get a standing work station. It is so helpful to prevent back injury.
Sometimes there are special cushions, seat supports available through chiropractic or osteopathic businesses? It might be worth checking.
Yep: Like the others've said - plus: kneeling chair & gym ball only if your coccyx is OK; lying down with laptop when possible, osteopath, chiropractor, acupressure.
