How should I treat daily temple area headaches when I bend over, cough, sneeze, laugh or cry...
I have looked for causes - sometimes described as cough or cervicogenic headaches. Seen rheumy, no immune probs so discharged. Having physio but not helping . Help!

I get this , it’s associated with migraines , very painful, but the ice pick shouldn’t last for a period . You will need to see your doctor. Try something warm against your temples , and try and rest your eyes, I wear sunglasses in the house to help with light intolerance. I hope you get some help. Take care.
Thank you Blue52. Yes, have seen doc twice with no success yet. Interesting that you say it's associated with migraines - the only thing that does help is an OTC migraine tablet but I seem to be taking them more and more often. That made me wonder if I was getting rebound headaches from painkillers. So will try the warmth and rest my eyes - have recently had a PVD (post-vitreous detachment) which has left my left eye blurred =feels strained. Do you experience pain on bending over?
My doctor told me they were associated with migraines , show this attachment to your doctor . I suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome, CFS , so I often kiss the floor lol, but sometimes when the headaches are bad, yes I can get even more dizziness. I know it’s horrible. Maybe it’s something to do with your PVD, you definitely should ask to be sent to a specialist. I feel for you.
