Has anyone tried the Fibro Guy? I’m just about to sign up and start a programme with him.
The Fibro Guy: Has anyone tried the... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
The Fibro Guy
aware of him but not any experience of working with him.
I hope its ok I jumped on you post I never heard of this service until now is it expensive do you know?
Hello. I bought a video from Fibro Guy. He comes across as very likeable and certainly understands fibromyalgia.
But I found it very difficult to motivate myself to jump around when I really didn’t feel well and everything hurt. So I didn’t keep it up.
I keep telling myself when I feel a bit better - I’ll give it another go.
Good luck - hope it works out for you.

I'm glad you didn't push yourself, sometimes what are body needs is rest. I understand we need to move regularly but we can do that without jumping around until are bodies are ready to. You may feel like you're doing nothing but inside your body is doing loads - you're busy healing!
Hi Lioncub. Thanks for your kind and supportive reply. But tbh I’ve given up waiting for my body to heal itself. If that was ever going to happen - it should have figured out how to do it by now. I got sick after I had my first baby, and she was 49 last week!
Me and fibromyalgia live together in a state of mutual distrust. I try not to annoy it - it tries to annoy me. Sometimes I feel it is a punishment for some long forgotten misdemeanour - but I don’t know what set it off,
Sorry - this is a bit of a rant. But today I am fed up - bad night!

Hiya Elizahl I’ve just found out it’s £5,000 🙉 so I won’t be doing the programme.
Five grand?! I’d be expecting a whole new body for that. Not just fibro free but an upgraded model 👙🤣
Seriously, that’s a lot of money. I’ve bought a few things over the years, the most useful was an exercise programme from Cocolime Fitness. She’s an Australian lady who specialises in exercises for people with fibro, CFS etc. About £50 for 18 different workout videos (digital download), various PDF guides and a 90-day plan.
Hope you find something that works for you...that’s not £5,000!
Omg my chin literally hit the floor I can forget about that then and stick to trying yoga lol
Hahah maybe we should all club in and see if they will do us all i a joint programme. 😀
Hi. That’s an awful lot of money -£5,000 to do the Fibro Guy programme. But it does show just how desperate somebody might feel to pay that much to get better. Well - to pay that much for the chance to get better. There is no guarantee it would work.
Unfortunately - or maybe fortunately - I can’t afford it!

I once spent £6000 to stand in a room with 50 other people doing CBT lol.
However, there are people on his website in the videos that are still recovered years later so I'm going to send an email.
Has anyone read his book? thefibroguy.com/shop/
