Skin on my back hurts to touch, hard to describe what it feels like...almost like sun burn. Hurts having my bra on. Headaches, behind my neck hurts sometimes.
The flare happens every so often. The last time was when I was pregnant 7 months ago hasn't happened again until yesterday and since then I've had it all.
Ive been looking into it and it all points out to Fibromyalgia. Spoke to a doctor about it when I was pregnant but it seemed like he didn't have a clue
Anyone experience this?

Thank you so much. Glad that I have had some kind of reassurance. x
Hi it could also be Shingles which you can get without the rash. The pain on the skin is the nerve endings stinging and is quite horrific pain. My GP gave me meds to stop the nerve endings causing so much pain. I get flare ups but the tablets are quick to work.
Hi. Had shingles down my right hip and thigh in 2018. AWFUL,. But this skin pain is different than what I experienced with shingles. Have Gabapentin and can take that if and when this gets too bad.
Hi I suffer the same thing the skin on my shoulder feels sore and painful. It started about 2 weeks ago really badly but tried not to take to much notice. Then on Tuesday this week I started to have a flare up. This one is the worst I've had and only today am I starting to feel a tiny bit better
YES, skin on my shins hurt most of the time. At the moment have been experiencing the back of my left arm and around my upper back into my neck. This is the worse this has been in a long time. Rub lidocaine on the back of my arm, neck and back. About the best I can do. Hope your skin pain gets better.
A lot of the recommendations are really good. One is to talk to your doctor. As mentioned there are meds, unfortunately I am not able to take them so I am unable to recommend. My cousin and daughter have not problem. And yes, it makes one feel better some how to have others who understand. Take care.
Hello there, I would persist in seeing your doctor, make a note of symptoms that have being going on for the last few weeks or months, gives them a better picture, they should then investigate further, normally some blood tests. Let us know how you get on and if you are diagnosed with fibro the forum is a good place to come and have a chat and read posts, take care.
Hello hun. Yes I hate seatbelts across me and often go round my house topless. I sympathise with you ladies as not possible. Mine hurts on my chest and shoulders and when topIs off so much more comfortable xx
