So I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia yesterday, which was actually quite a relief as I'd been bracing myself for a degenerative rheumatic disease, so I'm feeling quite positive for now.
I was hoping you could all share your best nuggets of wisdom with me, anything that's helped you get a bit of energy back or makes your life a little easier. I've also recently quit my active part time job (as I was spending all my time off recovering and resting up for the next shift, and just couldn't keep the house clean or care for my three year old properly), so I'd also be really grateful if you could share any experience with PIP/ESA or manageable jobs.
Thank you so much!

Take your work in very small bites, then rest for awhile, then work, then rest. It's the way I do it and it helps in two ways; firstly the work doesn't exhaust me, secondly the short rest allows me to recover without becoming stiff, which I do if I sit for too long.
