Getting diagnosed

Hi I been suffering from sharp pains everywhere in my body especially my left upper chest and back these pains have been happening for about a year now its making me worry . I have a appointment on the 4th of Dec with an orthopaedic doctor, I'm just wondering if anyone has the same symptoms and if so if there is anyway to help. I get shap stabbing pains every where if I touch my muscles for ages afterwards it hurts, I get a weird sensation in the top of my chest like my muscles are stretching but goes away after about 10 seconds my muscles spasm , and also recently I grown very sensitive to lights . Someone please help me im going out of my mind and can't take the stress of it no more just need some answers . Thank you

Hi, I have sensitivity to light too, which is part of fibro I believe. Hope you get a diagnosis

I been having problems for about a year but the sensitivity to the light is new and im also struggling to concentrate and also my memory is starting to be vivid . But I've read that this could all be to do with fibro .. do you suffer with the same symptoms or similar? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah that could be "fibro fog", Google it and you should find quite a bit of info. I sometimes forget words randomly, like the other day I couldn't find the word "carrot" and said "you know, the long orange one". It is frustrating, but very common in fibromyalgia 😔

Oh really? Its frustrating I was getting seriously worried as my grandad suffers with dementia and scared me to think I was losing my memory . But ill have a read up about it . Do you suffer with the shap pains too I get them in my upper left peck alot but I can feel its in the muscle not underneath by my heart I do tend to get worked up about the repetitive pattern of pain though as most of the time its in or around that same area .
