omg just getting over sickness n diarreoah its knocked me for six i could,nt move this morning had to get in a hot bath before i cud do anything .

ooooh nasty. I had my first bath in about 9 years the other night - have showers every day before anyone thinks I might be smelly and I laid there and then thought, how am I going to get out of here! I did but not in a very ladylike manner.

How horrible. Hope you are feeling much better by now tofty. There's a lot of it going around with even a notice on the front door of my surgery today, saying keep away if you have it!!

Oooh, I used to take Acidophilus. Haven't thought about that for a few years now.

you may have ibs it goes from one extreme to the others where i am today were it so solid it all but rips you open to get out

I too have IBS...never know where I am at with it...for the last 3 days have been backed up and totally unable to go....Then woke at 3 am this morning with horrendous pain and have barely been off the toilet since!!! drives a person to distraction!!

I to have IBS, its yet another part oif having FMS I'm afraid, my partner always jokes that if we go anywhere new the first thing is to locate the toilets.

I wish I could have a bath, sadly i am unable to get in the bath and getting would be impossible, think I would need two strong people to lift me out, so its a shower and my partner has to help me or a all over wash while sat on a chair. More of the joys of having FMS !!!

the ocupational therepist will sort you out with a seat that goes up and down if you prefer baths...i prefere a bath as it helps with the muscle pain......xx

Ohhh you poor thing hope you feel better soon...I suffer from IBS its terrible at times and leaves me crippled with pain...

I know the feeling only too well also, I suffered from it few wks ago and was bed bound for 3 wks as it agrivated my fibro. Thought I was never going to get back on my feet though thankfully I'm starting to feel bit better now.
