Self-help network on fibromyalgia

Hello everyone, I am happy to be an integral part of this community. I am a facilitator of a self-help group on fibromailgia in my city, I live in Florence. I have had this group for 2 years now and it is going great. I am very satisfied but as a facilitator I would like to compare myself with other realities. Unfortunately, there are not many self-help groups in Italy for this disease. Can you put me in touch with a self help network on fibromyalgia if it exists?

I would be very grateful to you

Hi and a warm welcome to our community. Here you will find information support friendship and laughter too. You can find general information on fibromyalgia at our main website fmauk.org

Unfortunately, as a UK charity we are unaware off any support networks in Italy

Thanks everyone for your answers,

I know FM org ASIF and enfa-europe, but I don't look for associations even if I know very well both AISF and ENFA, they do an excellent job I am looking for communities of self-help groups.

I repeat, I formed one in Florence and wanted to exchange opinions, comments and more with them.

Thank you

I run one of the support groups that’s linked to FMA. I’m happy to chat if that would help. I appreciate it’s not a group in Italy but it might help??

Good afternoon, sorry but I would like to understand correctly, I am not very good in your language, I am not very familiar. Are you a facilitator too? If the answer is yes, I would like to exchange ideas about your group. I give examples to clarify. How organized you are, how many times you get together, how is your participation, in short, a little curiosity. Organize events, you have specialists with you, here is a series of curiosities for a comparison.

Can you? If you want, I leave my email address in private and we can exchange emails for this purpose. I hope I was clear.

Thanks very much for your reply

Your language skills in English are way better than my Italian, so never apologise!

Yes I’m a facilitator so am happy to explain how we do things etc, just let me know how to contact you.
