Had a letter from Capita this morning & itโs in 10 days time Mary. I havenโt contacted my MP Ruth Jones ! Do you really think they will help me my good friend ? So worried love K4ttt xx
I just hope they listen as the face to face interview before was all lies & had to go to tribunal who awards me full on both. They were all in my favour xxxx
Please try not to worry about it, I didn't have a telephone interview, both mine were face to face. The 2nd was at home and I felt so much better for it, because she could see different aids I have to help me.
Please try and stay calm when they ring you. xxx Prepare a list of things that you want to say to them. xxxx
Thatโs what I thought was going to happen , a home face to face interview but now with all this going on Iโm stuck with the telephone interview instead ๐
I have so many aids too which I have said on my form I sent previously
I will try to stay calm & will have my previous award out & all I need hopefully
I will prepare a list but been told theyโre yes & no answers as like last interview which they threatened to terminate if I spoke again
My hubbie had a pips telephone interview on the 4th they were very through. Not jyst yes or no, the even questioned about his dyslexia asked about what measures his work took etc. The telephone interview took over an hour,
Mine was 1 hour 10 mins long too. They were very thorough, even asking questions about my previous claim to compare with this times forms, so I had to remember what I had written on my previous forms too, which was easy as I just told them what's got worse than last time.
Just make sure you have a drink handy, tissues in case you need them, comfy place to sit or lie, and if you need to move and stand to stretch tell them you need a few minutes but keep talking to them.
My phone interview was 4 weeks ago, i had a txt back 12 days after to say they had now received my written report from CAPITA nd I will hear from them with a decision within the next 6 weeks and only contact them if there is a change of circumstances. So I should hear back within the next 4 weeks
It is horrible. I never had to go through it but if I do I will lose my house my dog and wont be able to pay maintenance to my son's mum. That will definitely be the end. I hope you manage to still get it so in my thoughts and prayers...
I've been awarded mine twice before after medicals with Capita, so I'm hoping this will be 3rd time running. I think if they have enough medical evidence it's hard for them to say no. What other medical conditions are you diagnosed with, maybe mine are different to yours x
Hi I have a few illnesses my Fibromyalgia & COPD being the main but have thyroid problem , hyperthyroidism blood pressure, tinnitus, psoriasis , sciatic arthritis, asthma , depression ๐ . Capita have never awarded me only 0 points always tribunals for me Iโm afraid
I have sent letters from my consultants with my PIP Form. Good luck also love K4ttt xxxx
I've always had MRI scan results to send on with my claims, this time I had 2 one for my spine and hips and another for my knee, it's harder for them to say Im fit and well with a current MRI result in front of them. xx
Hi Iโve sent letters from two specialists who have treated me for these illnesses for 10 years, both my illnesses they are not ones that improve especially after a decade. These doctors know how it effects you , how they ravage your body , not being to walk a few feet without pain & breathing difficulties. Capita just treat you unfairly & lie through there teeth. The tribunals were more then happy with these I just donโt want to be going there again , take care & goodnight love K4ttt xxxx
I usd to have hyperthyroidism and mine was completely cured with medication. I also have COPD and arthritis, hypertension (extremely high blood pressure),grade 4 chondromalacia, sciatica and a very badly degenerated spine, so i know how these can affect the body, but that said, the DWP does tend to like scans and mri results as well as written letters so this could be why you have had to appeal in the past, i would strongly suggest you send them your most recent scans xx
Hi My friend, Iโm sorry for all your illnesses , It must be difficult for you but so glad youโve not had to go through tribunal process to get your awards .
All I know is Iโm in constant pain & a burden to those around me ( my family )
Iโve worked all my life & Iโm not asking for sympathy just what Iโm entitled to by law !
I have always been good to others & will help anyone I can .
Genuine people with illnesses which canโt & wonโt better should not have to go through the stress of these interviews as we all know what ever you say Capita will lie just to get you off which is what theyโve been briefed to do . 0 points REALLY
I have a stress related illness โ Fibromyalgia โ this stress triggers it off & makes my joints so bad I canโt walk along with my COPD both of which Iโve had 10 years is good enough. I was on indefinite DLA till PIP came along
Theyโve cruel as my security was taken away from me
In totally get you, my life is one day after day of chronic pain, and limited capability to even do the most basic things. Just getting up and washed is an achievement. I lived my working life, as a classroom assistant in a primary school for almost 20 years. I miss it alot. Life itself has changed me, living with chronic pain and so many illnesses has taken a toll on my mental wellbeing.
The only thing I was mentioning is I have always found the Capita interviewers as fair and sympathetic, they have always awarded me the points for each question fairly so maybe you have just been unlucky with your interviewers. I also believe it's down to certain phrases they look for for example, so many people just say they have depression or mental health issues, often this gets you zero points on the forms, but if you simply say you suffer with overwhelming emotional distress your awarded full points for the question.
So I don't exactly agree that they lie, they just aren't allowed to give you points unless you actually say the correct terms they are looking for Xx
Iโm sorry I donโt understand how or why you think Capita interviewers are fair & sympathetic. They lie through there teeth as what was said on the report I requested was unreal .
So no Iโm not unlucky as read how many complaints they get. Itโs not just me theyโre trying to cut the numbers of claimants down .
To say theyโre fair I totally disagree with you my friend ๐ฏ take care love K4ttt xx
I had mine on Tuesday it was not yes or no, she was very nice but you never know if you really got over to them how ill you are till the dreaded envelope drops through your door xx
Hi itโs hard when past asseememts have gone against you but will try ๐ Iโm not negative normally but I know how Capita work & they lie so much itโs hard to be positive about that thanks love K4ttt xxxx
Hi I was in the same boat as you I had been on DLA for 20 years and it was indefinitely because I'm on oxygen and I have limited movement due to pain and I can't go out on my own. But they don't care and they reduced my benefits by half. Just be careful what you say to them xxx
Hi Tiamaria, thatโs so unfair as on indefinite like I was then should mean indefinite . I will be speak the truth as Iโm chronically ill . They donโt care as scored 0 points on my last Capita assessment ๐ Iโm so sorry itโs disgraceful what theyโre doing
Hi thanks for replying and understanding and I don't want you to be worried by my story it could be totally different for you. I hope and pray you get your money sorted out and it's the right benefit what you deserve. Good luck xxx
So the rotters are still in business! Good luck with your interview. Keep your information with you, have someone with you, take a deep breath and take your time. Don't let them rush you and if its too much say so.
Good luck. Chin up. All rooting for you. It probably won't be as bad as you think.
Try picture them naked, first thing in the morning, having a bad hair do, looking gaunt and with bags under their eyes, having had a late night. They don't look anything like scary that way.๐๐๐ Take care and good luck.
I applied for PIP on 17/12/19. I have heard nothing. So over a month ago I phoned claims to be told the assessment process is very behind and I would hear in good time..
Nothing yet.
Hope you're interview goes well. If not make sure you appeal. 80% win including my sister's.
Hi I hope you hear soon my friend. Waiting Iโm not good at . Thank you so much as also won at my Tribunal appeals ๐ just donโt want to have to go back there again
Great ๐๐ผ news for your sisters Iโm so happy for her
