Flare coming !!!

Hi peeps my necks terribly stiff I have severe chest and lower back pain and pains in legs I can feel a flare coming not been this bad since a year ago does this sound like a flare what are your experiences and best advise xxx

Sounds like a flare up.I have been experiencing more or less the same myself,chest pain more like costcondritis and skin on legs and back painful to touch and stiff neck.

I have been having lots of bath and painkillers.

Hi lavender yes sharp chest pain like I'm being tasered in chest im getting pin prick sensations to its a joke well a nightmare I've got no job now due to corona and now I'm home schooling my 3 children x

It does sound like the start of a flare. you may feel heat helps, and if you're able to have a bath and you have any Epsom Salts put some in the bath. Hope it eases off soon x

Have you tried the fibromyalgia stretches on YouTube? There are lots of videos aimed specifically for fibromyalgia - mostly American as they seem more geared up for fibromyalgia. I do a 4 minute stretch in bed which is incredibly gentle - just movements of legs etc which some mornings feels impossible but really does help me get out of bed and reduces pain. If I feel up to it in the day I’ll do a longer stretch sequence - there are loads. Hope you feel better soon.

Best to ring your doctors surgery and explain symptoms to be sure, most surgeries at the moment have a triage system in place but if your concerned for a piece of mind, soaking in warm bath I find helpful, back pain , back of legs I use a rub in gel for pain relief (but always check with pharmacist /doc that it okay to do this) if you are on any medications, it is horrid being so uncomfortable try and get some rest when you can xxx
