I think I have chest infection, bringing up nasty yellow/green in mouth, cough weak joints too bit have that that abit, right knee hurts arms at top feel achy, spine hurts BUT my whole front middle and upper chest constantly feels like its burning

2 clear chest x Ray's nov and jan 2 lots of antibiotics n here I am now feel like I need antibiotics again and upper stomache by ribs feel like its burning, any ideas anyone have thoughts, had this feeling

Saw a phisio put all aches to fibromyalgia but said he cant diagnose until I see respiritory to rule it out, well I feel its respiritory related iv had few antibiotics past few months here I am now feeling like I need them again nasty taste in mouth and keep bringing phlegm up in mouth I did a spirometery that was okay my right lower leg is tingly just want all this to end.

Having a neurologist appt next month and seeing a respiritory consultant in general department not sure what that means, the one after xx

Thankyou for your time.

I really feel for you, i had very similar middle of feb and if im honest im still suffering a little, but my main issue was my chest, omg it felt so tight, the noise was horrendous and for over a week i couldn't shift anything from it, then as you describe yellow and green, nasty taste, i felt ill, like i needed to just sleep, couldn't eat for coughing and kept awake every night with the cough, and the sheer wheeze - i had 2 drs appointments and they said my chest was clear and that i had a virus, i took a weeks course of Flucloxacillin - 500mg x4 daily - they are nasty and as i got to the last day i felt less like i was dying with the worst chest, but again as they ended it crept back and i've just battled it ever since, i've had family say they think i had the Covid - 19 but i cant say for sure, i had a sore throat, felt like i had flu but the worst part was the chest it was scary a lot of the time, i so wish you well and if i had that again i would ask to be tested - i saw a video clip online yesterday from a 32 year old healthy mum and her chest and cough/breathing sounded just like how i sounded! I think a lot of people will have suffered this but not know ir not be sure? As i said i still have stuff coming off chest now but only with the odd cough, not a persistent one but mine started on around 20th feb. Take care and keep safe xx

It sounds like you will need to wait until you respiratory consult to see if they have any answers, and whether you are having recurring chest infections .... However, it is possible that you could have fibromyalgia alongside as a separate condition
