Is it me ? Or do you get feast or famine with medical appointments? In this last week I had an operation on my hand last Thursday. On Tuesday I had an appointment with the doctor about a skin cancer on my nose. I then had an appointment with the nurse to redress my hand . Today I had Physio and Monday I got a bowel screen test.
Lovely to get all this medical treatment I hear you say BUT how the heck am I supposed to do my own enenema ( cant spell that) on Monday with one hand, fibromyalgia, COPD, Spina Bifida, Scoliosis and Systemic Sclerosis???? Am I supposed to thrash around on the bathroom floor 2 hours before I go to hospital to stick something up my backside to make me poo before my screen test? And what if I need to go in the hospital transport?
So maybe sometimes you can have too much of a good thing!!!!! Lol 😆 Luckily no more appointments after Thursday next when I get the stitches out my hand.
Hi I know 😀it is funny really. One thing I won’t be doing any selfie shots that day lol. The worst part today was when the physio asked why I hadn’t gone for a memory test following my last hospital admittance? 🤔🤔🤔🤔”Oh! I forgot” I said . 🙄. Ah well I hope that my weekend goes very , very slowly.lol
I have got too many appointments that I cannot cope. I have instigated all but when it comes to the crunch time I cannot handle them. One task is too many let all alone 10 of them at once, my anxiety level way too high as the Fibro make me crumble if I run around too much 😍
I'm the same, no appointments for months and then one or sometimes 2 a day!! I'm lucky that I've people who will take me, I don't want hubby having to take too much time off as he had just been made permanent in his job and I don't want anything to rock the boat!! Though his boss has said anytime he needs to go it's fine cos it's medical which I think is really nice. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

I hope you had an ok day Hun. Weather not up to much but hopefully it will get better after Storm Dennis. I had a pretty good day today as had no medical appointments 😁. However, still same old things make me so tired 💤. ( lack of sleep being number one) . BUT being the weekend I don’t feel so guilty slouching around in my PJs .
The pain is also easing up a bit in my hand so I am going to try again to redress it tomorrow. Watch this space I will probably end up with the bandage 🤕 round my neck lol 😂.

Sorry your haveing a bad time of it and I no not funny but your words just made me laugh so well done sounds like your youse to going thru a hard time and have dealt with loads before and loads in the future and wish you the best of luck with that keep your humour because if we don't laugh we cry x
Thanks Mark👍. The best bit is now my Mum has got 2 removal men to move some furniture 🪑. Right at the time I am supposed to do my enenema( still can’t spell it lol 😆). Perhaps I may be offered a hand 🖐. I could do with one . Take care and thanks for your response. Xx 😘

Hi mate glad your doing ok I do have the flu jab and I not had a cold for 2 years and this year I had 2 in 2 months think my body a bit run down at min and just came out of a nasty flare up apart from that all good do feel a bit more with it today so hope it's passing anyway take care my friend hopeing this week a better 1 than last for you and for me x
