My journey with my pain

Hi everyone I hope that you are doing as well as you can.

I thought that I would come on and let you all know about my journey with my terrible pain.

I am going to try and keep this as brief as I can.

As some of you know I had a terrible time with back pain. I had 4 fractures in my spine and it all began from there.

I went to see endless specialist and gps.

I had a big operation that I found out that I never needed. The pain from that operation was horrendous. The specialist lasered lots of my nerves in my lower back and injected steroids into both hips.

Then I went on to see another specialist who gave me prolotherphy and I had three lots of injections.

With the 1st and 2nd treatment I never had any change however on the 3rd treatment I had reduced pain. I was really pleased as I now could manage more on a day to day basis.

However I was still determined to try and get out of the pain that I still had.

We thought about going to America to see if there was something there that could help me as I was exhausting all roads in the UK and hearing so many doctors and specialists telling me that there was no more they could do for me.

This was my last shot at find someone in the UK so I scoured the Internet and found this PROLOZONE therapy done by Mr OLIVER EATON. I done so much research on this therapy and once I had all the information that I needed I thought that I would make appointment to go along and meet Mr OLIVER EATON . This man made me feel so comfortable right away and gave me a thorough examination and I had the first session of PROLOZONE. The next day I didn’t feel sore at all and I had no pain whatsoever. I still don’t have the words today how I felt because that was the first time that I hadn’t had any pain in nearly 4 years.

My 2nd treatment I did have some pain the next day from the injections but this pain was bare able and after a short while the pain disappeared and I was back to no pain again.

My 3rd treatment was much like the 2nd treatment and I am very happy to say that as of today I am still pain free.

Mr OLIVER EATON himself suffered from fibre neuralgia and had this same treatment on himself and he is now free from his pain.

OLIVER has people coming from all over the UK and further afield to see him.

It is not expensive at all for this treatment and anyone could afford it.

It doesn’t matter where you have pain in your body it can help so many different conditions fibre neuralgia back pain knee pain wrist pain arthritis neck pain and so much more. People have had this treatment before having there operations and then cancelled the operation as they didn’t need to have it because there problems had gone and they got back to there normal lives.

If anyone is interested in finding out about this treatment then if you can google PROLOZONE Therapy MR OLIVER EATON IS THE VERY FIRST SITE THAT COMES UP. He has 2 clinics one in London and the other in Bedford.

I believe that one of the London hospital is about to start using this same therapy.

I hope that my own journey can be of some help to some of you on HU.

Glad you have had a positive experience. I have not heard of this therapy and cannot see any evidence for its use in fibromyalgia. But I could find a PCC(Professional Conduct Committee) decision for unprofessional conduct from the General Osteopathic Council for someone of the same name. It does appear to be the same person.

I would do research prior to committing to any treatment and discuss it with your GP.

Hey Dizzy ,well all I can say is this along with all the other ailments I have is under active thyroid I saw a specialist he treated me and for the first time with pills I went on after a few months I felt like a new women .This man was black listed by his profession but I know for a fact he saved one woman’s life she was low by drs same as I ,not enough to get treatment .My drs took me off it and every day I’m exhausted lie on a sofa can’t sleep .This men these renegades are sometimes hero’s .He was mine this fine Scottish man ,he gave me months of wellness about 5 years ago .

Hi my sweet friend. I have taken my time in reading all the comments and as I have done my research and spoken with to gps that I know. In my own opinion not only has this man help me he has also help hundreds of people and the reviews from them says so much. So many people are only interested in getting well and it doesn’t really mater if he has a blinking ABC OR DEF as long as he is qualified to administer the injections and give you a full examination to see if you are someone that he can help get people out of pain and that is what so many people want. Myself and my partner have been speaking with other people in his clinic and they can’t speak highly enough about this man. My own private gp is starting to look into maybe doing this therapy in his own clinic.

Also if one of the big hospitals in London is about to start doing this same therapy. Now that speaks volumes in its self.

This therapy has helped me where so many other treatments have failed and to go through as much as I have done over the last 4 years with horrific pain and to hear so many specialists and GPs telling me that we cannot do anymore for me was heartbreaking and because of my determination and hope to find something that would get me out of pain. That was my goal. It was my decision to have this treatment and I am so pleased that I did because it’s so lovely now to look at my future with no pain. I believe that my health comes before money and if others are like me then a £150 isn’t a lot of money to put up to get rid of pain and have a good life and be able to smile again. Also the lovely people around me are so so happy for me.

Some comments have now made me feel why should I take the time to share things when others want to take the time to pull it apart.

Maybe it would be nice if people would also read all the reviews this man has received.

My apologies for long reply but I am sure that all the people on here that is pleased for me will understand what I am saying.

I certainly don’t want to get into any discussion about my post as I only thought that I would let people know how this has helped me. I must also say I would never do anything without research and certainly not through desperation.

Hello Jan101,

I am sincerely sorry you feel the way you do, and we are all pleased you’ve found something that helps you. The discussion around this professional is about his conduct as he was first practicing not saying this treatment doesn’t have merit.

As below, since his issues he probably has acted under the rules set and is highly qualified as you say. This may have made him realise he needs to dot the ‘i’s & cross the ‘t’s so to speak.

I think if you’re post helps some people in pain & living with Fibromyalgia that’s great! 👍🏼 As this is the reason for posting, however we must always be aware that this may not work for everybody - that’s all we’re trying to say to others reading to make sure it’s right for them personally as you did.

I have heard many people saying that have had good results from Ozone therapy so it’s very interesting & one to watch especially in any Fibro trials.

Sorry I wrote a reply back to you and god only knows where it has gone.

In short I am seeing Mr Oliver Eaton on Monday again about another problem so I will say to him about his degrees.

I have been read a lot of reviews and posts that so so many people have written about there treatments and how he has given them there life’s back even people on there that had Fibroneuralgia and now can’t thank him enough for giving them there lives back.

To be completely honest with you it’s a treatment that I wish that more people knew about because I hadn’t heard about until I came across it online when I was looking for something else.

I really do understand what has been written. However I would really like to mention it to him to see what he says. I think I have already said that. Must be getting tired now.

However it’s always good to know that the right person is always qualified to do what they are doing if you know what I mean.

Jan ,please don’t worry about others they are only trying to help .I understand because I was with a guy who was a senior endocrinologist who knew that people needed more than they were getting .In the days of our mothers they treated them when the patient said they felt much better they stopped at that .

Myself it was the best few months I had as an adult I felt so much better.So I understand and at the end of the day my love after all that pain you went through and despair ,your better that stands for itself .Love and hugs 😘😘😇

Hi Jan101,

To provide more information I found the following online 'Prolozone is a connective tissue injection therapy of collagen producing substances and ozone gas which can reconstruct damaged or weakened connective tissue in and around joints It also suggests the injections last up to 4-6 weeks and so therefore I am assuming this would be quite costly - only available to those who can afford private healthcare.

I am glad you feel this has helped you and I am definitely interested in the concept as it combines Ozone Therapy which seems to be becoming more popular. I notice the quote says it's for damaged connective tissue and therefore as Fibromyalgia does not cause damage I wonder if this is best for those with other conditions that cause these problems to joints.

I also notice desquinn has mentioned that people should always research therapies and the DRs performing them - so I think this is worth noting.

I am pleased you have found it relieves your pain experience, however for most the cost of these are out of reach, however it's very interesting to read about a new therapy.

Hi my dear friend sorry for late reply. I was just reading and waiting before I replied. Thank you so much for your good wishes.

I left a long reply on matrix post so I don’t want to re write it all again.

As you know I have undergone through so many treatments over the last number of years with a lot of them with no results or some leaving me in more pain.

This therapy has helped me so much and if I had to pay £150 every so many months then to me it definitely would be worth every penny.

It really upset me when you share experiences to see if it can help others and some people rather than wish you well just wants to find pot holes in it.

I will finish here my good friend as I said before I am not getting into a discussion about something that has really helped me and hundred of other people.

Thank you so much for your good wishes. I can’t begin to tell you how much this therapy has changed my life. I even smile 😀 everyday because I am no longer in pain after all theses years.

According to the PCC decision that was not the issue. His dissertation was submitted twice and did not pass. He had the option to submit it a 3rd time or take his bsc. He chose the latter.

But ultimately when the work was submitted it was not to standard and this is the reason he had no right to use the title at that time.

I think under their ethics guidelines that would still be likely to have misled the public. My other thought is that it should have resulted in a PGdip.

Hi Zoonie,

Yes this explains the issue but you don’t expect a pilot to fly a plane to say he can fly & have X qualifications! They would need to prove they were capable.

In any profession you cannot earn at that level until you’ve got the passed certificate in your hand and you’ve been registered ie. I may have done all uni work & passed but couldn’t work or get paid as a registered nurse until I got my nurses pin.

Regardless, of what he ‘thought’ you cannot say you have ‘X qualifications’ & treat people before actually having them, as Des has mentioned.

I’m sorry but I never said you did or didn’t say anything (unsure what you’re referring to) I’d just like to have the person treating me qualified to do so (personal preference).

I just think that if he is willing to say he’s qualified before being so, then some people might question what he says now (only natural) The ‘ boy who cried wolf’ comes to mind.

He probably has towed the line since then and helped many people which is fantastic however it’s not the best start to a promising career IMO !

Please hear and read all the posts and reviews. As Mdaisy says things could of changed from what has been written and now. Sorry I really don’t want to get into a discussion with anyone as stress is really bad for me and all I was saying really is that how it has worked for me and so many other people even people with fibre neuralgia has posted how much they are feeling better and have their life back to. Please read some of what people are saying about this man on his site. People are even travelling from Canada to see him.

I am seeing him on Monday for something else I have a big pain in my bottom ( muscles ) so I can’t sit down for long as it really kills me so that’s is why I am seeing him again.

When there is an unknown treatment I will always try and look into it and the practitioner. When there is little or no evidence then I think that is fair to mention and when a registration body has sanctioned someone that is also something that is fair comment.

It is quite clear that he lied in a way that was likely to mislead people and was sanctioned for it. It is for others to decide whether they would like to go and see him. It would also be important that if trials evidence is forthcoming for this treatment in respect to fibro that it is done by independent researchers with no conflict of interest and him very much at arms length.

Cost of treatments for anything is very relative and could be financially devastating for some to take this risk but it is an individual's choice and only fair for them to have the all the facts to make an informed choice.

I am glad that someone has had positive results but any treatment and practitioner should be able to and welcome scrutiny.

I totally understand and I agree. People can always be very cautious with new therapist and I fully understand that. It’s always good to do your research and if you can speak with others that have gone through the treatment themselves.

I am seeing him tomorrow and I am going to show him my post and replies and ask him what really happened with his Qualifications and I am very sure he won’t mind talking to me about it. I think it will interesting 🤔 and I don’t think that I will be sharing what he says. I feel now it would be better for people to find there own therapy’s and do there own research for themselves.

I completely understand that no one was picking me up in anything and I am sure that they were pleased that I had very good results.

I agree with you as long as you know you are safe and the therapy works and it has. It has given me my life back and I can only praise him like so many others that I have met at his clinic.

One young mum was telling me and my parter that she had been given Antibiotics from her GP and she had a very bad reaction to them and suffered pain throughout her body and they couldn’t find out what was causing all the pain.

In her day to day life she couldn’t do anything because of the pain, she couldn’t even pick her little daughter up or play with her.

I don’t know the full in’s and outs of it but she found Mr Oliver Eaton and she is completely recovered from all the awful pain. However she had come back to see him because she had picked something heavy up and was suffering some pain I think she said in her shoulder.

It was really wonderful listening to her and she had so much praise for him.

We have met some other people there and it was really sad to listen to their stories before they went to see him and again they all had praise for him.

I feel so lucky that I found this therapy because I had never heard anything about it.

I am seeing him again tomorrow for another problem I am having. ( not my back because that is still pain free )
