Hi has any one else had the lignoncaine infusion? & Trigger Point trapezius in my neck. Had 2 rounds of treatments, & it's been life changing since July I've slowly started to walk not needing my mobility scooter any more next to no pain & sleeping so well after having next to no sleep over the Last 10 years the fatigue has gone at the moment. However due to it not working well enough for enough people they are not offering it any more. I'm totally cutterd I've got an appointment on the 25th Feb to find out if they will still offer it me as its worked so well for me

If any one has any information can you please respond

Ps. I'm also wondering if it is the damage I've got to my neck is the proplem rather than fibromyalgia

I had it done twice but didn't work for me. You will still be able to get it privately.

Thank you for your response I'm sorry it didn't work for you

Hi Samantha, I think it's a few hundred pounds. I remember looking at the website of a private hospital. But if it worked for you your doctor must fight for you. I have a good pain consultant and she is trying very hard for me to get better. Despite all that I'm not improving.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards Entela

I had a little as i am so sensitive to everything my blood pressure went sky high and was being sick, then they tried again 6 months later very slowly i was still being sick & feeling woozy but persevered and had a full treatment I felt really unwell for about 4 days It didn’t help at all though

I am waiting for my appointment to go back the person who did it has gone semi retired so a new Doc is taking over so it’s a waiting game.

I didn’t know they were stopping them sorry to read this for those it has helped it’s such a shame that they do this ☹️
