Hi all, I'm just signing in to this chat room. I have suffered with fibromyalgia now for 5/6 years. I didn't ever think that a person's body could feel so much pain. I've given birth twice, had numerous surgeries, so I assumed my pain threshold was quite high but this pain is beyond words. I'm here to share stories, help if I can and just share with you all.

Hi n welcome with the pain is it the intensity or the lack of breaks that gets you, i know giving birth to my children especially my last was the worst pain i ve ever felt she was a kiwi birth with no pain relief her birth was the start of my health nose diving lol but with child birth and other pain i can tolerate cos i know theres a use by date on it its going to end fibro pain is relentless and varies from almost move to move walk too far bend to pick something up reach something on a shelf or even sit back on a chair anything can cause the pain to intensify eventually you stop doing things n thats our life. But less bout me im eager to read your storries xxxxxx warm hugs xxxxx

So my story is a long one but I wont overload you with it all. This all started about 13 years ago with restless leg syndrome. I'd happily go back there cause I could at least get some sleep with it. Actually no it goes back further,,sorry,,theres the fibro fog for you!!! Lol

I was working as a head chef in a restaurant and one night i had to clean a chest freezer. When i woke the next morning i couldn't move. I'd slipped a disc in my back from bending in and out of the freezer. I was laid up for 2 weeks then when i went back to work my manager decided to have a pop at me for taking time off even though it was doing a job for him that messed me up. Anyway ended up in a massive argument which i ended up losing my job over!!!!! I did try to sue but I couldn't give them all the exact information that was required. So there is where my troubles started.
