I broke one of my back teeth and I’m having a flare up, I know I need to go to the dentist but I am just wondering what other folks experiences were with dental pain during flare ups, mine seems so much worse than before,I am a dentist phobic and I have terrible anxiety attacks so I’m petrified of going

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., I am going to be honest and have a fear of the dentist, past experiences when they have tried to drill etc I go through the roofs with pain, I now have to pay for sedation when having any treatment so I always put money away because it’s just worth me not getting upset/anxious, my dentist is private but a lot of nhs dentists do this, its just somewhere with my body I cannot tolerate the pain or even the thought of trying, we are not alone in this totally empathy with you ,I’ve posted a link above if you would like to lock your posts as only our community can see and not open to any other site engines on the internet, take care and good luck xx

Hi my first attack was cos of my teeth. After 9 months of progressively worse fibromyalgia symptoms it was recommended I have my 3 remaining wisdom teeth out. Immediately there was a reduction and the next day I had 75% less pain overall. Within a month or 2 I was off gabapentin. I'm off work at the moment and am booking a dentist appointment asap
