Neuropathy pain

I have neuropathy of the motor and sensory neves,I have had all the usual medicines for this condition which didn't work,the latest being butran patches which I have now stopped as they made me feel worse,can anyone tell me if they take tramadol.I'm also on citalopram so I don't know if they would interact.

Hi there, i am sorry no one here is medically qualified. You would be better talking to your GP or a pharmacist.

May I ask have you been diagnosed for fibro at all? Everyone is welcome but we are basicly a fibromyalgia forum.

But I would definitely check in with your GP if you have any concerns about your medication. xx

Hi I’m a carer and the guy that I care for is prescribed citalopram and tramadol. Beware tramadol has given him terrible dreams though it has reduced his pain levels.So six of one and half a dozen of the other.

Hi I’m on Citalopram and I take Tramadol with it but only on the bad days, I can manage without it some days. So I think they can be taken together as my doctor prescribed both. I would talk to your GP about pain management.
