Got my monthly prescription and another med missing cyclizine.I ring Dr and said were are my meds all I got was well you have to see the Dr,I am fed up trying to fight and explain,what the ech is happening it's not fair when you suffer anxiety on top of everything else ,sorry I'm going on but I'm very upset !!

Hopefully it's just a review... it will say on your prescription ... or ...I would read up on tolerance and addiction ..just in case they want that discussion .I know they are cutting back on codiene and pregabs etc .don't worry ..can you take someone with sometimes it helps ...and no it doesn't help having to re do things ..I had this every month for 18 months in row I got very sick with pain...going 4- 10 days a month without unexpectantly is upsetting had to change GP and now .no problem .is cyclazine meant to be stopped suddenly. .!!! xoxo goodluck

I can understand you being upset would have been better if surgery had rung you rather than just stop your meds, I agree ring this morning to ask for an appointment I’m thinking this is a anti sickness pill, so is it something you take every day, hope it works out okay x

Hearing about this more and more, you really wonder why of gp wants to reduce or stop a medication, they cannot all you to make an appointment first to discuss it and at least explain why, and also discuss alternatives. Xxx

Hi hazel I'm so fed up with trying to fight,I've paid my stamp for over 40years and worked very hard on the mills,to be penalised and denied the help I need,I'm very angry,because I think it's sheer hard work that's caused all the problems I have today!!x

Thats the last thing you need, no wonder you are fed up. Hopefully it is just a medical review. Did you speak to the people who send out the presciptions in the surgery? If i get a grumpy one who is really unhelpful, I tend to ring back later on and speak with someone more helpful - that can sometimes work a treat, or on the other hand sometimes you really have to make a fuss.

Whenever I put in for a repeat prescription I now photo copy, write the date and time on it. Evidence is crucial.
