Numbness down face

Hi

does anyone suffer from numbness down the side of their face? and if so do you feel that this worsens when you are tired?

Yes my right side of my face feels strange and my forehead. I posted about it a few days ago.

Yes, I’ve had this too. Sometimes feels like bellspaulsy! I give all my symptoms 10-20 days before I contact a doctor. If it goes away I chuck it off as Fibro?

Trouble is, I worry that you can't always blame everything on fibro. Be careful. I will be glad when I have seen a neurologist and e.n.t. again about all my stuff also involving numbness, soreness etc etc. X

Before fibro really made its presence felt I had surgery on the left side of my face (benign tumour) . Immediately after I had numbness, but this wore off after a couple of months or so. Since fibro, I've noticed that the numbness returns, particularly when I'm tired. I've also noticed that one of my eyelids blinks slower when I'm tired and that eye was affected by my op too. Maybe fibro can sometimes zone in on previous bits of the body that have been hurt in the past..I do think it's the case as far as I'm concerned. However, if I start noticing the numbness all of the time I shall be going back to the dr in case it's my tumour growing back!

many thanks for your reply optimystic. I have not be diagnosed with fibro yet. I have told me doctor about all my symptoms and she says that it is not fibro because it is not painful. She is now referring my to a psychologist. x Sorry to hear about your issues and hope your start to feel better x

Hi I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia over a year ago I gets lots of numbness in different places ,tingling ,shocks but no pain everyone is different

My gp is the same I feel very alone as no one seems to understand how it affects your life daily

I am at the moment swimming twice a week having Bowen massages monthly taking vitamins stretching every morning .Trying to keep busy to push feelings and pain out of my mind
