some people with fibromyalgia find that they are more prone to infections and other illnesses .... i often find that i have symptoms of an infection; but there is no actual infection present and it settles itself within a few days. I normally try and avoid antibiotics as much as possible, as using them too often can lead to resistance to them working, so you end up worse off. xxx

Yeah?,I'm the opposite the dentist said there was bit more of infection than they'd thought and anti biotics are needed for my health however every so often I try come off them hazel to reboot my system, I just wandered if there was a connection to the fibromyalgia and prone to infections as I always seem to have one thing after the other,I'm currently awaiting new blood results they're looking into why I'm I'll as often.😘,I hope you're feeling as good as it gets today 🙋,thanks for the response I can say to my Dr it could be related.

It's one of those things where some people with fibro find they are more prone to infections, but others get less infections.... And some notice no difference xxx

Good morning Curlybacks, constant use of antibotics is not ideal. Do you have any herbal remedies you could take and also maybe buffered Vitamin C to help boost the immune system and adrenals, if you are run down, you would be prone to picking up infections

Best wishes

Yes it does get you sometimes but your keeping your chin up having a singalong with your daughters, perhaps we could get Ed Sheeran to write a song about fibromyalgia he is extremely popular and he could a rap, as well, this is my sense of humour,we certainly need one , like Hazelstar says sometimes the more they give you our bodies get used to it. I have 2 little grandsons I find when they have something I seem more prone to getting it, but love their company so have to put up with it.
