healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., morning , do they give you any breaks in between where you can go off for a drink and do some gentle stretches , must be painful being in one position, have you tried a heat gel to rub on like your neck shoulders places which are taking the strain. Very hard doing that and a little one to look after , can they offer you anything different to break up your shifts?? So your not on the same working position 8 hrs a day. Have a good Sunday with your little one, I’ve posted a link above if you would like to lock your posts. Take care xx
Hi Aga1989, it must be so tough doing that job. I had to reduce my hours at work because of my fibromyalgia. Do you have an occupational health nurse at work? If so it may help to speak with them x
If you are struggling with work then they can make adjustments for you such as reduction in hours, shorter days, more breaks. Go to occupational health if you have one and it helps to get a note from your GP to explain how fibromyalgia effects you every day etc ..... I got this and they can’t overrule what your GP says xx
Thanks for replay. I work only 2 days a week. Occupational Health suggest some adjustments. But the problem is that can't stand for more than 20 min beacuse of pain in my knees. They don't want give me anythig, beacuse "is not safety" and I can use only chair every 1hour for 5 min which is next to to menager desk. I work in this company for almost 7 years. I have deppresion as well. I dont know if there is any sens to fight whit them.
