Post script to Assessment report inaccuracies.

It's as though the examiner has completely missed the point . He's made more of my mental health problem which has not troubled for a good 15 years - I have been very well in that respect due to a lot of effort on my part I hasten to add. Alot can be achieved through effort and hard work and taking responsibility for yourself. However the problem I have at the moment is that the pain from my Fibromyalgia is so severe and so regular occurring usually after activity that it causes mobility problems. The examiner completely overlooked this and all he did was to write "Fibromyalgia " and nothing else. I am fuming. Gosh I need to count to 100 never mind 10. It makes me so mad. I wonder why he made more of my mental health? - maybe because it's more topical?

When my husband had his ESA assessment some years back the assessor did the exact opposite. He had had a complete mental breakdown but all she seemed to concentrate on was any physical problems he had. He acknowledged hendidnt have them but that they were manageable with medication, etc but at that moment in time his mental health problems were overwhelming. When we went appeal we pointed this out and we did win at appeal going from zero to 18 points. I do hope that you get justice.x

Hi there,It can be so frustrating to say the least when the people your talking too seem to wear blinkers. But i think you may be right that the mental health issues are more understandable and except able than the Fibro ones. And more treatable :(

I don't know if you prefer to leave your posts unlocked. If you do that's great. But if you would like to lock them for privacy reason the link below will show you how :)
