Hi there il post a link over for you to read hope it’s helpful also helpline to ring for advice healthunlocked.com/fibromya... x
The two benefits are Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Neither are based on a diagnosis of any specific illness or disability. So Fibromyalgia is not a passport to benefits.
Instead they use a list of Daily Living Activities and Mobility Activities. What matters is not what is wrong with you but what you can or can't do. You'll find the lists and scores for PIP here
For ESA go here and try the self-test

Don't trying filling in claim forms on your own - there are lots of traps. You need to get help from the Citizens Advice Bureau or if you are sufficiently articulate and able to cope with quite complex guides try the Benefits and Work Guides on the website above - you have to buy them, or see this free one which is not as good as the Benefits and Works Guides

The advice to contact Janet at Fibro Action UK is good advice.
