Hi group, thanks for accepting me.

My name is Yoly. I'm Spanish and I'm 48 old. I live in Scotland for more than 4 years.

The lack of comprehension for this "fictitious" disease make me feel isolated and depressed.

Can any of you manage without medication? I fed up of medication and still feel pain every second.

Thanks for your ideas. Turmeric is in my daily tea.

I've read about chinese herbs, shen tong zhu yu tang. They are anti—inflammatory. Has anybody tried it? xx

Hi, I lived in Spain for some time and my parents still do so I have access to Spanish information through friends /family and have read that Spain actually recognises fibromyalgia as a disability, and it was my Spanish doctor here in Cumbria that first diagnosed me, she has been really good and also told me to google as there is a lot of information out there but it really is trial and error and what works for one sufferer may not work for another and I have found that nothing really takes away pain. I am going to ask for a pain management clinic referral next time I go to see her, anything is worth trying? Hope you find something that works for you.

Welcome to the group. Sorry you feel so much pain. I personally don't feel I can go without medication. I personally added in Turmeric tablets from Holland & Barratt which has helped with my pain. I also take Complex B vitamins to help my body cope with pain and keep my mood up.
