I went to see mine and put my symptoms in a memo on my phone as not to forget stuff, as short as I could and gave it to him to read. They ask plenty of questions and examine you. Xx nothing to worry about. Xx

Hi Inola 😊🌸🌿🦋

I’m sorry you’re nervous about your upcoming appointment. One thing to remember is that you feel what you feel and no one should try to tell you that you don’t. Yes write down all of your symptoms and the effects of them in your daily function as well as ask questions when things aren’t clear and about any of your concerns.

I have had a lifetime of doctors telling me that I’m crazy or it’s all in my head and made me question if they weren’t right. Decades later I learned that I wasn’t wrong and now much older and wiser I can say to anyone that doubts my claims that you can’t see the wind but you sure do feel it...it IS there and so are my symptoms.

Try not to be anxious. Don’t let anyone intimidated you. Be assertive when needed and if you should run into medical staff that dismiss you or treat you with arrogance or disrespect keep searching until you find one that really connects with and listens to you. You can ask others on the forum who has your symptoms and in your area who they have as a doctor and the best care from as a guide for your doctor. In the meantime you can search online @ mayoclinic.org for answers. They are located in the USA 🇺🇸 but world 🌎 renowned for their care and treatment of patients.

Best wishes abundant blessings.

😊🌸🌿😊🤗💗😘

Hi Inola writing a list is a good idea, it even shows that you can’t remember everything and that’s part of fibro. Rheumatologist are not there to trick you so don’t worry I’m sure you’ll get the right diagnosis. Sending gentle hugs 🤗

I felt the same in the run up to seeing the rheumatologist. It was fine she asked about my pain history and then checked the pain pressure points and then turned straight around and told me it was fibro. Hope all goes well for you.
