Got recently diagnosed tram not working cocodamol really!! Going seeing the doc on the 6th june so many comments might mention morphine but scared it might do damage to me serious direction needed as i cant cope with this pain . Told the doc last time i went that is rather die than put up with this pain n hot stabbing in my legs . Does anyone else get pain in your balls .sorry to be direct i had down their checked and everythings was fine some help people

Opioids generally aren’t effective with fibromyalgia pain, in a lot of people they cause tightness in the muscles which makes matters worse.

There are plenty of other options to consider, a combination is usually needed.

Other Pharmaceutical options to talk to your GP about

Anti convulsents like gabapentin

Tricyclics like Amytriptilyne

SSNRI’s like venlafaxine

SSRI’s like fluoxetine

Other options - all with supporting studies

Magnesium supplements

Light therapy (SAD lamp)

Vitamin D supplements

Pilates and light Resistance training

Sports Massage and mobilisation techniques

Stress reduction

Pacing

Good Sleep Hygiene

Options with anecdotal evidence

Hydrotherapy if you can find a warm pool if not Hot tubs/jacuzzi/Sauna - be careful not to dehydrate and take care getting out as the heat can make joints loose

CBD oil drops/vape/balms (best thing I ever did)

Epsom salt and magnesium baths/shower gels

Aromatherapy
